Working with corrugated cases
Shipping cases need large, scannable information for warehouses and retailers. Porous board absorbs ink well, but recycled liners vary in colour and smoothness.
Practical tips
- Print barcodes in the picket-fence orientation where possible.
- Hold the case against a guide rail so the printhead gap stays constant.
- On dark or recycled board, verify barcode contrast before committing to direct print.
