Single-Head TIJ Printer
12.7 mm high-resolution coding with zero maintenance.

Built around your product
A compact controller and one printhead deliver sharp dates, batch codes and barcodes on cartons and labels. Change the cartridge in seconds and the printhead is new again.
Each cartridge contains hundreds of microscopic nozzles. A resistor behind each nozzle heats the ink for a few microseconds, forming a vapour bubble that ejects a droplet. Nozzles are fired in columns as the product passes, building the image. Water-based inks suit porous board; solvent and UV-curable inks extend TIJ to films, foils and coated cartons.
Key features
- Cartridge-based — no pumps or filters
- Clean operation with no solvent top-ups
- Prints GS1 DataMatrix and QR codes
- Bracket kit for side or top printing
Process sequence
Load
Snap in a cartridge; the printer reads ink type and level from its chip.
Design
Create the message on the touchscreen or send it from the line software.
Trigger
A sensor starts the print as the pack passes within a few millimetres.
Nozzle columns fire in sequence at up to 600 dpi.
Cap
An optional shutter keeps solvent cartridges ready during line stops.
