Coding & Marking on Cables, Tubes & Extrusions
Extruded products move continuously and are often still warm at the marking point. Text repeats along the length, usually with a running metre count.

Working with cables, tubes & extrusions

Practical tips
- Mount the coder where the product is stable — after a guide roller, not in free span.
- Dry or blow off cooling water before printing.
- Use an encoder so metre marks stay accurate when line speed changes.
