Tray Sealing Machine with MAP
Seals lidding film to preformed trays, with gas flush.
Built around your product
Trays enter the sealing tool, air is evacuated and replaced with protective gas, and the film is sealed and cut to the tray outline. It suits fresh meat, ready meals, salads and bakery.
Continuous band sealers carry the bag mouth between heated bars and cooling blocks while a conveyor supports the bag. Chamber machines evacuate air around the product, optionally back-flush with gas, then seal. Tray sealers and thermoformers use a tool to seal top film to a tray or formed pocket and trim it to shape.

Process sequence
Load
Filled bags or trays are placed on the conveyor or in the chamber.
Evacuate
Vacuum pumps remove air to the set level (vacuum and MAP models).
Flush
Protective gas is injected where modified atmosphere is used.
Seal
Heat, pressure and dwell time fuse the sealing layers.
Cool & code
Seals are cooled and a date code is embossed or printed.
